Consolidation and packing

In warehouses in which order picking takes place in parallel in several warehouse sections, LOGIA's order consolidation will group part orders into one overall shipment. A detailed overview provides the current status of the individual order, and indicates which picks are still outstanding before all the items in the order have been picked. This ensures that the order is not packed and dispatched before it is complete.

This hereby ensures the lowest possible shipping costs and that customers do not end up having to handle several shipments from the same supplier order.

Final check
Consolidation can also be used as a final check that the shipment contains the correct items in the correct quantities. The completed picking orders are checked and approved in connection with the compilation of the order.

Packing
LOGIA provides easy access to data such as the content of the picked pallets that are used in connection with packing. The shipment is weighed, and labels, delivery notes and packing lists are printed out.

Information concerning the content of the shipment unit, tracking data, etc., for use when dealing with claims and customs clearance are automatically saved in LOGIA.
